The Welcome Email is sent by the following actions:

• By Integration with a Shopping Cart. After a successful purchase has been made, the Shopping Cart notifies Kajabi to create a project user and send a Welcome Email automatically with their log-in credentials for your membership site.
• By checking the option to send the Welcome Email automatically during the process of adding project users using the Bulk User Import Tool (located under the Users Tab).
• By viewing each user detail and clicking the "Send Welcome Email" button.
• Using the FreeSignup Cart as a Shopping Cart provider, the project user will get a Welcome Email automatically after signing-up to your site.

The Welcome Email section is located under the Project Settings tab. It is an editable text-only box in which you can customize to your hearts content. For example you might want to add "...if you are having problems logging-in, try typing-in your login credentials." in your Welcome Email content.

You'll notice a few placeholders included in the default message body that looks like this -> {{place_holder}}. Currently these are the only variables available. Variable details are shown in the image below.
